Hello all,
I am Rachel I am 44 and I am getting ready to have the gastric sleeve in Mexico with Dr. David Vazquez. I am really excited and ready! I have fought my weight all of my life, but the last 7 years I have been having knee pain, I finally got a doctor to take me serious besides telling me to lose weight and diagnose me, I have degenerative arthritis and a torn smashed meniscus, I am in constant pain nothing has helped. I finally had to go on anti depressants due to just being worn out from the pain I was so down. After the diagnosis I was then told if I wanted knee surgery I would have to lose weight, well I am in so much pain and can't imagine trying to get some weight off no exercise and MAYBE get knee surgery after. So I am going for a whole life change! I am engaged to man who loves me how ever I am he is a truly wonderful man and he is completely supportive! I can't wait to have this procedure and see the next chapter of my life!!
