I have faught my weight all of my life. I could lose weight, but I would turn around and gain it back plus more. Over the years I have tried several times to obtain WLS. It seemed like The Lord would shut the door everytime I tried. The insurance would not pay, I did not qualify for assistance, I was too high a risk...etc. This time The Lord slung the doors wide open. I decided after the first of the year I was going to try one more time. Our Insurance had changed and it would pay a flat fee of $13,000 and I knew this would not be enough. Each step I took I got a yes!!! The insurance approved it in less than a week (which is a miracle in it's self)! Everything just seemed to fall into place. When I had my upper GI----My husband looked at me and said "you have never made it this far before" I answered him back and said "it's my time and The Lord is going to make it happen"! I had my surgery on June 10, 2014 and came home on June 12 with no complications!!!!
