i have been struggling with my weight all of my adult life. I have tried every diet under the sun. You name it, I've done it. They work for a short tme and then I find myself right back where I started if not higher. I have considered bariactric surgery before, but didn't follow through. Now I have jumped through all the hoops and gotten my surgery date set for August 21, 2014. I am scared and excited at the same time. Looking forward to being able to put my own socks on and tie my shoes without a struggle. There are so many benefits I hope to realize from losing the weight. Glad to be here and so happy I found this site.
