My story ....

Currently I am writing this 7 days out from my surgery , I found this site by using google to ask questions about surgery :)

I have been fat all my life right from a baby, then as I got to about 20 i really put it on and my top weight was 135kgs (297lbs) and my doctor told me he wouldn't operate on me because I was to big ... And he referred me on to the bariatric team and since June 2013 I have been doing what I needed to get this far and now here I am :)

In New Zealand , we have national health system so while there is no cost to me for the surgery there is waiting lists and lots of hoops to jump thru but I am here so yah :)

I am 30 and married I have no kids my husband is wonderful and he is very supportive of all my choices and he does extremely well to help me stay focused. We have been together for 11 years in May :)

I have 2 ***** cats Starsky & Hutch they are my babies :)
