Scroll up to the top of the page and hit "Home". Once that page is up, scroll down to different groups. There's a teens and also a 20's group.

Hoping you can pull yourself up soon and get back on track. Try something new for your workouts to get you interested again. Might help. Good luck.

Erin,

Just do it! You know what you need to do, make a plan and follow through. Don't allow yourself any excuses that would allow you to deviate from your plan.

As Happy said...just do it.

You know you can...prior experience says you can. Good luck.

Return to basics. Whenever I'm struggling, I get out my ten golden rules and check them off in my head. Am I drinking all my Water, taking my suppliments, exercising, and not eating more than my alloted ounces? If I can't answer yes to even one of these, I pick it back up and within a week I see weight loss.

I'm not sure if it'll be the same for you, but I'm almost positive (seeing as we do have the same first name and all that <3).

Erin18: Sweetie, you are very young still and I know it's hard for you to stick to a plan of action when you want to be out and about with friends & eating what you want too. However, it's time to get with the program again. You can do it and you know you can. It's all a matter of discipline.

You may be feeling down or lazy b/c you're not getting enough Protein. Protein will give you the energy you need to help movitate you.

So make a plan of action and force yourself to follow it, no matter what. Don't defeat yourself....you deserve to be thinner and you can be if you will practice self control.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
