My Pantyhose keep rolling down...

Recommended Posts

UGH! I will be happy when I am finally banded and on my way to losing the weight I need to keep these suckers up! Praying for a late January sx date.

You mean pantyhose aren't supposed to roll down? Who knew!!! I especially like the way the crotch keeps sliding down until it's at my knees and I can't walk.

Good luck in your journey!

I've found a great way to keep panythose comfortable.

Never wear any!

I have not worn a pair for over 20 years myself. Hate the things.

Good, old-fashioned suspenders or duct tape under your clothing can help. Fat guys have the same problem with our underwear but thankfully our pants keep them from falling too low.

I hate them too. I wore a pair for the first time in years just a month ago and I was soooo uncomfortable. I had already done my hair and makeup before putting the pantyhose on and once I finished with the arduous task of putting them on, the curl was gone from my hair and I was all sweaty. NEVER AGAIN!

I hate that, I hate pantyhose period though. Get them big enough for the thighs and gut then you have wrinkles galore at the ankles!!

I hate them too! Ugh! But I have to look somewhat presentable at work...I got the Queen size pantyhose...what's after that? I don't think they make KING size, do they? lol.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
