bandayed 0 Posted October 19, 2005 Just got my insurance approval -- did my pre-op Monday....next stop bandland! Just 4 more days!! I'm getting nervous with all the bad press lately for WLS, but my surgeon is very experienced and does exclusively RNY and bands. AnotherMe 0 Posted October 20, 2005 Wow! GREAT NEWS! congratulations on your approval! I personally don't think you have much to worry about as far as the stats go. I found after the anesthia wore off on the evening of day 2 I was feeling zapped of energy and my whole abdomen was sore. I recommend taking at least a week off from work if you can. I had surgery Monday went to work Friday but was definitely feeling the pain. I'm now 9 days out and still have some discomfort sitting in front of my computer. As long as you rest and try not to do too much, you should recover quickly.
