2 year bandaversary!!!

Well friends, yesterday was my 2 year bandaversary.:bored: It's still hard to beleive. while I haven't reached goal. I have lost about 70% of my weight. I had a couple set backs, and had to start over again at one point, but I never gave up. It's been the VERY BEST thing I've ever done just for me. I'm off almost all the medications I was taking. I'm active again. Have my self esteem back. My marriage is good. I have energy. I enjoy shoppiing again. It's all been good. My best advice? Don't ever give up. I'm delighted to have made it this far.

That is awesome, Aubrey! Congratulations and happy bandaversary! :thumbup: My surgeon and PA always told me, this is a 2 to 3 year journey, not a quick fix. You are doing fabulously! Keep up the great work!

Yes, thanks for the reminder that its going to be normal for some of us to take 2-3 years. I was envious when others got to their goal in about a year and I have more to go. I am in it for the long haul!

My 2 year band anniversery was in September. Though I would of loved to been one of the few who lost it all in one year I am pleased my progress and look forward to being at goal at my 3 year anniversery.
