Okay, this may sound totally stupid, but since I have started taking weight off, I have one or two spots that are itching me to death. I have put lotion on them, thinking it was dry skin. I have tried anti-itch creams. Right under my breast and in the folds of my legs where my underwear lays. Is anyone else having a problem like this, or is it in my head. HELP!! What will make it stop.

I did this too especially in the summer. Mine has subsided since I have lost 23 lbs. but I did have it. Of course it is now winter too, so I don't know exactly what it is, but I did have it....

Funny you meantion this, I have a new dry patch in my inner elbow, been putting some heavy duty creme on it, and it cleared up.

Not to derail the thread but has anyone else had their scars itch, mine itch all the time.

My scars itch all the time! It drives me crazy, especially at night. Instead of scratching, I gently rub them and it helps.

Add me to the list of itching! This started after my surgery (one month ago) and my stomach itches constantly. It's worse under my breasts. If anyone has any tips or what has worked for them I'd be grateful. Just PM me if you'd like.

My first post and it's about itching! I have the same under my breasts and my underwear lines! It's annoying! Glad I'm not the only one (not that I want anyone to itch)!

My scars itch like crazy. My big scar and one of the little scars are raised and itch ALL the time. I put hydrocortisone cream on them and they feel better.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
