Brigette I will definitely be praying for you and please let me know how it goes I will be in your exact position a week from tomorrow but I am sure everything will go fine and by the time I have mine you will be an old pro at this good luck and I am anxious to hear from you!!! :biggrin:

wow Brigette congrats!!!!! I go in as well also, mine is at 730am I was suppose to be there at 8 am but thecalled and ask me if I could be there at 730 I said sure heck Iwould have went right then if they wanted me to....lol I'm not scared at all I know we will be just find. I am looking forward to a new life !!! Talk to you after its all said and done!!

well how do you feel?? I had mine on the 12th also I feel good , little sore in the stomach , but what really hurts is my throat and jaw line they said they had a hard time putting the tube in. man I feel like they tried to rip my head off. but other then thaat I aam doing great. Hope you are feeling good. hey WE did it!!!!!!!!

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
