LSASHA ROCKS! I wish I could eat like you! I am so picky, though and have no willpower. I'm trying the low carb deal, I love some pink lemonade Crystal Light :D

I drink Slim Fast for Low Carb - pretty good. Way to go!!!

Carrie,

I had to do something to get me back on track. I gained 11 lbs. in two wks.:dead I didn't think I was eating that much but evidently I've been eating everything that moved (my poor son, he was probably next:nervous ), so now I'm logging everything I eat. So far, so good...I just need to get my exercise in.

I love the "On the go" cystal light lemonade. I mix it up leaving it a little sweeter, pour it over crushed ice and put it in the blender and I get a yummy lemonade slushie.

What Are You Going to Do

What are you going to do to live and Enjoy Life

What is going to keep you on track

What is your motivation

What am I going to Do

I know the answer to these questions

Don’t I or am I just wack

I know I need devotion

What am I going to Do

I don’t know what I am going to do to live and Enjoy Life

I don’t know what is going to keep me on track

I don’t know my motivation

Right Now

What am I going to Do

Maybe I can make time to Enjoy Life

Maybe I can go and walk around the track

Maybe I can get some motivation

From Someone Who Knows What They Are Going To Do

I was looking at the website menu. Subject to change, but the blackened salmon (served with a garden or Caesar salad, seasonal fresh vegetables & your choice of side) sounds like a winner to me.

I'm trying to wait until Friday to get on the scale. I told you all about my weigh issue - I do it 3-4 times a day. But I did it this morning and will not get on again until Friday morning. Baby steps... :(

Well I thought I gained at least 5 pounds but instead I turtled. I didn't looe and I didn't gain. I did do Denise Austin morning workout yesterday since I didn't come to work. I really need to get serious about my exercise.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
