I actually buy the vitagummies... they make gummi Vitamins for adults... I buy them at both Walmart and Target...

Does anyone know of a Vitamin that is small and can be swallowed. I cannot tolerate the chewables. I had surgery in April 09 and have some rstriction. I have lost 57 lbs.

Great job on the weight loss. I don't have any problem swallowing pills. I hope that is not a bad thing..I hated the time when I was having to crush my pills but now I don't have any problems.

I don't have any trouble taking pills either. I don't take any of those gigantic gel pills though. I figure I'd just be asking for trouble there.

There is a Vitamin called One A Day Essentials. It is a very small vitamin about the size of an aspirin. But it does not have everything that the regular Vitamins have in them. One thing it lacks in Iron. The vitamin is hard to find. Last time I got them I ordered them from Amazon. My iron dropped low though so I did switch back to chewables instead of getting a seperate iron pill. Hope this helps.

I also use the gummi Vitamins, gummi vita D's and gummi Omega 3's. I use the Sunny Valley carmel calcium chews. I kind of think of them as my dessert!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
