Fill Center COSTS

I've read a lot about signing up with Fill Center USA or paying to sign up with a surgeon. The surgeons around my area (Florida) treat me like some alien when I call.

I didn't have surgery in Mexico, I had surgery in Denver with a BCOE practice yet I am simply out of town for an internship and need a fill. I just flew home a few weeks ago to get one and it wasn't quite enough, unfortunately.

So it would be economically unreasonable for me to sign up for any 'package' because I just need one fill for the time being, then I will be home in Denver where I receive my fills.

My question is...how much does ONE fill cost at the Fill Centers USA, without signing up for anything?

Thanks so much!

When I talked to them a few weeks ago it was around $350. Go to their website and ask the price. You don't have to sign up for a package deal, I was just going to go for one fill because my practice was making me wait too long. I didn't end up going to the FCU because my surgeon finally agreed to see me.

Where in Florida are you? I am in Florida and my surgeon will take patients that were banded by other surgeons.....

1 fill costs $350??? What the heck? They are making all kind of money doing fills. That's crazy. I'm glad my first 2 years included my fills.

I am going to be signing up with Fill Centers in January, doing the annual plan in the St. Petersburg office, as that is the only one in FL that does the fill with Flouroscope automatically.

I found out today that my health insurance has been cancelled due to my job change, and COBRA is way too expensive.

The annual plan is $1400, to go to my surgeon one fill is $900, under flouro.

Yes, St Petersburg is a 3 hour drive for me, but that is ok, we will get an annual pass for Busch Gardens and have fun while up there.

THanks I just called and got the information. Do you know if the package deal can be paid monthly? Or is it up front? ANy chance that Sacramento will get a fill center any time soon?

I was advised not to get the annual plan. Its based on a point system and only good for a yr and everyone's needs are diff. My MD seems to think I will only need 2 more fills to get where I need to be for a total of three. We'll see.

I went to Dr, Rodriguez, in Monterey Mexico, Sept 27, 2010 about 4 weeks ago and I was plenty scared but I knew 3 people that had been to him so I just closed my eyes and prayed. Everything went very well! I found fill centers USA about 30 min. away from my home in a small hospital. I went today and it was a very good experience. I had my fill a little early but the Dr. only does this once a month and I didn't want to wait another 4 weeks! I was very happy with the Doctor and the process. There were several other people there that had been other places that had other compactions because they had been to Dr's in the past who didn't use fluoroscopy. I would never do that it was well worth the $350 plus If someone referred you you’ll will get $25 off and they get $50 off! What a deal! You have to tell who referred you when you sign up!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.
