I believe I have had an AH Ha moment. Much of my over eating occurred out of boredom. I quit smoking in July and was banded in OCT. I ate and smoked about 1/2 the time from boredom. I need positive things to occupy my time now. reading? check! computer?check! I know, I know, I need exercise now ! Any other suggestions?

How about writing my dissertation for me? No, seriously, I had surgery at about the same time that I began my research for my dissertation, and I have found that I am so consumed with gaining new knowledge that I often forget to eat. What about taking a class at a community college? Lots of choices: photography, flower arranging, cake decorating, lots of general education courses, etc. I live in a very historic city, and when I finish my dissertation, I'm going to take a course to become a certified tour guide. Just some thoughts!

Good idea Gator,I do need to get a few more credits in order to hit the next pay scale at my school. Instead of an on line course, maybe will get off my duff and go!

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
