Band removed - "Did" and "Did not" work for me...

Recommended Posts

Hi bigboned-I had my band removed about a year ago and I had a large 'mass' where the port was, it is completely gone now, I don't remember quite how long-but I'm thinking it was a couple months before it was gone-swelling and scar tissue build up or something-I just remember thinking-something must still be in there it felt so hard-just wanted to share that mine did eventually go away, hopefully yours is gone by now. Good luck!

Thanks for the update jclue...

My incisions and lumps aren't completely gone but I am seeing a lot of progress so feedback like yours helps me feel that my results may be typical for this type of surgery and that it's just going to take time.

I had my removal on 10/31/09 and 1-month later the lumps are less visible to the point where I can wear regular clothes again - it no longer looks like I'm hiding a golf-ball under my shirt.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
