cb0828 5 Posted November 3, 2009 I was banded on July 31st and I have lost about 40 lbs. I feel that I am not losing weight like I want to. I exercise at least 4 times a week for 45 minutes. I know I am not eating enough Protein or taking in enough Water. Everyone is telling me that 40 pounds in 3 months is great, I just feel like it should be more. I have started going to aerobics to see it this helps. Any suggestion's or to ear log/things that I can do help me drop at an average of 2lbs a week.
tyhelms 0 Posted November 3, 2009 I think that is great.. I am also slowly loosing weight. I had my surgery April 15th and I'm just hitting 40 lbs. I guess everyones body is different, I did have another surgery though on 09/23/09 gallbladder removal and that slowed the process being that I wasn't able to exercise. Hang in there and be encouraged,in time we will reach our goal.
ParrotheadCathy 0 Posted November 3, 2009 40 pounds in 13 weeks IS an average of 3.07 pounds per week..... You state that you know you aren't eating enough Protein or drinking enough Water. Those are two vital contributions to your overall physical well-being and probably to your weight loss as well. Work on getting the Water and Protein in! Add another day of exercise or increase your time by 15 per workout.
