Mamacita14 6 Posted October 29, 2009 I had my surgery yesterday. Just to give you a short overview. My surgery was scheduled at 10:30am, I arrived at the surgery center at 9:00am. I was quickly taken to the back and undressed and had an IV put in. I guess I was really nervous because I had to go the the bathroom about 5 times within an 1 hour period. So 10:30 came and went, I was advised that my doctor was running late and would be there about 12pm. So I just laid there the staff was really nice I was only allowed 1 vistor but they let my mother and sister come back and sit with me. I started to make a run for it when my IV came out but I didn't. The last thing I remember was laughing with my mother and sister as they were taken me back at 12:30pm. I have to say that my stomach doesn't really hurt but the gas is unbearable, I've never flet anything like this before. Good news is that I feel alot better today than yesterday. I've been up walking and holding a pillow seems to help me. Just wanted to share my experiece with everyone.
MandaPanda 0 Posted October 29, 2009 Congratulations!! I'm still preband but from everything I've read on here, the key to getting rid of the gas is walk, walk, walk! You'll be feeling better before you know it!
Deekel 0 Posted October 31, 2009 Good for you! Congratulations!!! Yes, moving around will move the gas. That was my hardest part. It took me about 8 days to get rid of it all and feel "normal." I don't regret it for a second though. Best of luck to you!
