Aetna Denied - Everybody's blaming each other

Here's an update on my situation. I contacted Aetna to see if they had received my information. They hadn't so I emailed my bariatric center and told them. The insurance specialist called her contact and apparently the fax did not go through. (Even though she had a confirmation.) It was refaxed and I was approved including suggested surgery date of 12/01/09. I am unable to take off from work on that date so I have to coordinate with my work schedule and my DH's work schedule. I am so excited. :thumbup:

CONGRATS to everyone who got approved. My drs office hasn't even sent my paperwork off for approval yet and they are basically saying im going to be denied just because I didn't see my primary care for 6 consecutive months ( Feb, Mar, Apr, May, June and Aug). Im getting so discouraged. Im 5'7 315lbs. I have been overweight my whole life. Hopefully everything will work out....i just gotta pray about it
