Big Momma is Shrinking 0 Posted November 2, 2009 I had my 3rd fill today and am down 44lbs since the day of surgery (on the 26th). I had really hoped to be further along, but I also know that I haven't been the "perfect band model" either. I'm up to 6.5 in my 9cc band now and hoping that maybe this will be the fill that is going to slow down the intake and speed up the scale!! My biggest problem right now is that I can still eat anything I put in my mouth!!! (or I could b4 today's fill). Other then having a band what have you done to change your lifestyle? If you need a cheerleader or a drill sergent just let me know, I can be either, but I'm happy to lend support however I can!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
fixin2notbfat 0 Posted November 3, 2009 ok, I am right there with you, I have lost a total of 60 lbs, 14 pre-op and 46 since surgery on 3-17-09, I have a 10 cc band (lap band system), I have had 6 fills, I am at 8.2 cc, and I have not lost anything in almost 2 months, I am getting worried, I have increased exercise a little, I have done things to boost my metabolism, nothing seems to be working, yikes!!!! What is your dr. telling you? If you have any ideas let me know! I also am a texas gal, live in DFW area! Hope your weight gets moving down again! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
fixin2notbfat 0 Posted November 3, 2009 Forgot to mention not consuming more than 1300 calories a day, high protien everything, I do cheat 3-4 times a month, but I have done that from the begining, can still eat anything I want, bread, pineapple, asparagus, shrimp, it does not matter what it is I can eat it, I have only noticed a little bit of restriction since my last fill Oct.11, and my band or sto,ach is not stretched out, they check it everytime I go in! smcnair 0 Posted November 13, 2009 I hear you...i was gaining and losing the same 5 lbs for 4 mo straight. I was so frustrated with myself. I wasn't following the program like i should.
