Mickey527 0 Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) Yesterday I went to Boston Market and got a 1/4 white chicken and some mashed potatoes for dinner. (Had a coupon and it cost me $1.00.) They wouldn't let me substitute anything else for the potatoes, I really wanted some broccolli. Anyway, I love the skin on their chicken. I know it isn't good for you but I had my surgery on 9/18, haven't had a fill yet and am STARVING! Well I chewed as well as I could and swallowed. That tiny piece of skin got caught and wouldn't go down or up. I tried to force a burp but nothing. I didn't have much pain but it wasn't comfortable either. I hate to vomit, but tried to force myself and that wouldn't work either. I finally took a walk around the block and felt the food move a bit. I went home and finished 1/2 of the chicken and a few baby spoons full of potatoes and I was full, but no more skin for me. How do you all PB? I haven't had a sliming or PB incident but there have been times when I felt something get stuck. What do you do to speed the food through? happy2lose 0 Posted October 27, 2009 Papaya enzymes work really well. I carry them in my purse so they are always nearby.
