what is the best diet?

My surgery is in two in a half to three months away....... the nurse told me to start exercising now....and to watch my weight... (for my liver) ...what is the best foods to eat?? what foods should I stay away from???:cursing:

Here's a link for the binder for my program, the 1200 calorie pre-op diet is on pages 46-50. I've found it to be a great diet. Good luck!

Pre-banding, I found the South Beach Diet the easiest to stick too. You can eat lots of Protein, and it's not as strict on the carbs as Atkins. (And it allows fats).

Google it - see if it's the right choice for you.

Your surgeon should have given you a diet plan to stick to. If they didn't call them and ask them what you should be eating. Each surgeon is different and wants different things from their patients.
