Woohoo!!! Congratulations!!! :wink2:

How many cc's are you at?

I just had a fill last week and still feel restriction.. I'm wondering if I am there... I might be "for now" atleast. Only time will tell.

Best of luck to you!!

It has been slow in here lately, everyone leading their busy lives I guess... I'm so anxious to hear how everyone is doing!!

Hey Ladies - Sarah AMAZING 31.2!! Congratulations. So what does the sweet spot feel like? I'm not sure if I'm there or not yet, but I'm finding that I have a ton of restriction. Just wondering what you're feeling. What is a typical day of eating for you meal and calorie wise?

I'm doing well, LOVING my band. I've lost 56 so far and am down to 227. Excited to get to the next step of 60 and then in the the 2-teens. ;-)

Sandie - I am at 4.5 cc. Doc said that this should be all I need unless when I lose weight the band gets loose.

Jenn - I don't keep track of my calories. I know lots of people do but I never wanted to do that before my surgery and I certainly didn't want to do it after...LOL....too lazy I guess. Yesterday for B'fast I had a cup of coffee and a scrambled egg with cheese (takes me a little while to eat the egg now....gets stuck easier). For lunch I had homemade cheesey potatoe Soup with (probably too many) crackers and a SF Jello pudding cup. Last night for dinner I had 2 pieces of thin crust pizza (with Bacon, Sausage and Mushrooms). Still struggling with getting all of my liquids in but I am certainly drinking more than I did pre-surgery! BTW - You look awesome!

Seckert,

Sounds like you are eating about what I am eating. I had some pizza tonight and definitely couldn't eat much. I had chili at lunch and half an english muffin and light yogurt for Breakfast. I too am struggling with the Water. I need to put a reminder on my phone or calendar at work that says "drink up"!!

So glad we're all doing so well.. what a difference a couple of months makes, huh? :(

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
