Chellz423 0 Posted October 26, 2009 I'm haven't posted since the day before my surgery. I was banded on 10/7/09 and it was a painful and interesting experience. The shoulder and chest pain was almost unbearable and I ended up staying 3 days in the hospital because I kept throwing up. I didn't go back to work until today. The first week and half were tough, but I feel much better and able to exercise. Biggest advice: walk and Gas-X lol. No regrets and currently healing and learning how to eat agin. My first fill is scheduled for 11/17/09. :wink2:
j1love 0 Posted October 26, 2009 Congratulations! I was banded on 10-22-09 and I am happy. I want to start walking on my treadmill, but I am not sure if I should this early. I have my one week checkup Thursday, so I should ask about exercise then! Well, congratulations again and lets keep each other updated!!:cryin: I'm haven't posted since the day before my surgery. Deekel 0 Posted October 27, 2009 I'm sorry you had such a rough time, but so happy to see you're doing well now. I was banded 10/19 and at this very moment I could scream from the gas pain in my back so I know the pain. Which stage are you up to now? Best of luck to you!! Chellz423 0 Posted October 28, 2009 Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I will definately keep everyone posted. @Deekel, I currently don't get the gas pain in my chest anymore, but I still get the pain in my left side of my back/shoulder, it's the worst. Just about once a day, try walking my often and Gas-X helps as well. Get better soon. I was pushed to the mushy stage early, but mostly mash potatoes and fruit. Be blessed everyone
