tke100 0 Posted October 23, 2009 Hello..Has anyone felt weird after their fill? I had my first fill today and driving home I got this weird taste in my mouth. And I am not feeling well....very tired and achy. I don't know if this is a coincidence or what. I just don't feel well. I just feel weird...hard to explain....hope i am not getting sick. knwitham 0 Posted October 23, 2009 I haven't had those symptoms, but I am usually quite gassy after a fill. I'm not sure if these two things are related or not, but I've noticed how I burp for an hour or so after each fill.
elcee 3,342 Posted October 23, 2009 Its probably just a coincidence. Having a fill doesn't normally make you feel unwell. How much did your Dr put in and are you able to drink? If you haven't had anything to drink you may be starting to get a bit dehydrated which can make you feel unwell.
tke100 0 Posted October 23, 2009 I got a 2cc fill. I am drinking fine so I know it is not that....oh man I hope I am not getting sick! I feel tired and achy! I also googled side effects of Lidocaine This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: drowsiness, mental/mood changes, ringing in the ears, dizziness, vision changes, tremors, numbness, headache, backache. JoJo1 0 Posted October 23, 2009 Benadryl works wonders for allergic reactions. If you aren't throwing up, give it a try. If it isn't allergy, it won't hurt you.
lingra 1 Posted October 23, 2009 I have the same symtoms after a fill. I had a fill on Oct. 20, 2009, and I felt achy all over. This continued for 2 days. I also notice this the first time I got a fill. After a couple of days then I feel fine.

MrsBerggren 6 Posted October 23, 2009 I HAVE FELT THIS WAY BEFORE TOO!!! I have to drive an hour to/from my fill and while on my way home from my second fill my throat started to hurt and I felt horrible that whole day/night. I wondered myself if it was just a coincidence and thought I have to just be getting sick.. it was weird. But the feeling came instantly after I left the doctor's office. I took a small swig of my leftover pain meds before bed and that took care of it. I did not feel like that with my 1st or 3rd fill.. hard to say if it was coincidence or what happened. LollyMoe 1 Posted October 23, 2009 My friend said that she felt like she was getting the flu and was sore for 1-2 days after the first fill. Didnt have it happen on the second or third however. We have to remember that everyone is different.
