sports bra for "well-endowed" women?

Recommended Posts

I was banded on August 23, 2009. I have always struggled with finding a sports bra that would keep the "girls" stationary. I am still struggling! I am a 44DD at present, but am hoping that number will change in the future. Anyone have any suggestions about a good, well-fitting comfortable sports bra that will TRULY minimize booby movement?

I'm a 40DD so I know how horrible it is to shop for a sports bra. I bought mine at Kohl's. And I think it's Champion (if I had it on now I could tell you!) But seriously, it was specifically made for women like us and I've been really happy with it. It has underwire and three clasps in the back.

I bought Nike and Adidas sports bras thinking name brand would equal quality. Nope. They were stretched out after a few uses esp the straps.

I also use the ENELL sports bra. Very, very good quality and very good support. Don't waste your money on one's found in store. I have tried them all and they dont hold you down.:cursing:

Cacique (part of Lane Bryant) is my favorite place for bras! They have bras of all types in bigger sizes and a lot of times they are buy 1 get one half off or buy 2 get 2 free!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
