How long have you had your band without complications?

I'm interesred in hearing about the lifespan of the band. Anyone out there that have had it for more than 3 years without slippage etc.....?

I've had mine for almost 9 months with no problems but there are posters on here who have had their bands for years with no problems. I've corresponded with a woman on the "I'm here to help" thread who has had hers for either 3 or 5 years....can't remember which.

I am just short of my 3 year mark...no complications. Lost 100lbs in the first year, maintained the same weight since then.

2 years out and no complications yet. I had my gallbladder out a little over a year ago, but that didn't really have anything to do with my band. I DID have complications with that, and had to have my band completely unfilled and start over again. BUMMER.... But it worked like a champ. I'm happy.
