Passing on Clothes

Recommended Posts

I have just been reading Catherine55's increrdible blog and have really enjoyed hearing about sharing clothing. As I continue to lose weight I have a fair amount of beautiful clothes in size 16-20 which I would love to share with some people coming into that stage. I have dresses for more formal occassions, jeans, sweaters, and workout clothes. So let me know if you are interested! They would just go to Goodwill and I love the idea of passing them on to bandsters.

With the price of clothes today we can all get by with some help!

I too am passing on clothes and so is my SIL. Everytime she comes to see me, she brings more clothes. Sometimes, I don't get to wear them too long and have to pass them on again. I'm not even close to 16-20 yet but I'll get there! I'm not giving up.

I hope you find someone that will need your clothes soon.

I would love to have any of the 16's that are for the winter. I too have passed on all my size 24, 22, 20, and now I'm in between an 18 and 16, (some 16 pants fit, others not yet) so I'll be needing 16's very soon...PM me!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
