After numerous setbacks with insurance and ultimately being denied due to not having a high enough BMI for 3 full years I have decided to move forward regardless!!!....I will be self pay but feel good making an investment in myself....

I have just finished my 2nd day pre op.....2 Protein shakes....and one lean/green....and it is tough!!...I am scheduled for banding on the 18th of November....right before Thanksgiving *laughs*....clear liquids....but will be Thankful my many blessings!!!....:thumbup:

I was self pay and am glad I did it for myself. Thanksgiving will come and go and by then you will have dropped enough weight to feel really good about all of it!

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
