Pamhasband 0 Posted October 18, 2009 I have been banded about a year and a half. My surgery was done by Dr. Ringold, and I am still very happy with him. I have lost 60 pounds give or take. I don't have a web site or blog except on this site. I am happy to be back and I am looking to sharing what I have experienced in the past year and a half.

Pamhasband 0 Posted October 20, 2009 First of all I do not regret having my LAP-BAND®® procedure. I have had to learn how to eat slowly and not drink anything while I am eating. It took a while for my LAP-BAND®® to be corrected to the just right point. I have learned you have to diet still with the LAP-BAND®®, just eating small amounts will not help you lose weight. You have to eat smart and drink low fat drink. Crytal Light in my personal favorite. I add Benefiber smooth to my crytal light for the Fiber I need each day. I am able to eat more in the afternoon than in the morning. And for some odd reason I can't eat eggs anymore. For me the eggs are a mistery because I love eggs any way you fix them, however since my surgery I can not keep eggs down. After talking to other who have had the surgery some can't eat chicken, salad, greens, etc....seems that this is common, however each person has it's own food they are unable to keep down.
