Hello everyone! I had surgery 1-9-09 and have lost 70 lbs. Now I am at a standstill. I have recently started doing the biggest loser workout, but am curious as to what is the best thing to do to get the weight coming off again and toning. I have had 2 c-sections and have the saggy pouch at my incision is there any way to tighten this up? I was wondering since the muscle had been cut if it was now impossible to tighten that up. Also, my back fat....what in the world can I do for that? It isnt extremly bad, but it does drive me nuts. Just wanted to say that I am so happy I made the decision to have this done. I started out at 230 and in a size 24 pants and now I am 160 and in a 11 or 12 jean! Please any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Renee

I have been reading so many post on here about the quick weightloss. What did you do to get this much weight off. As of the 13th I have been banded for 2 months. In this time I have only lost 17 pounds. The doctor told me it would be 1 to 2 pounds a month but it seems so many people are losing faster. What can I do, I am walking 3x a week but feel I need to up that. Also I have 4cc in my band, just need some advice.

I chose not to lose the weight too fast. I've only lost 35 pounds since May, but I've gone from a size 22 to 14. I've been doing pilates, which has built lots of nice long muscles, strengthened me everywhere, and totally toned my abs. I have no loose skin at this point and I've also had a C-section.

Now that I'm going to Pilates 4x a week, I'm ready to add some aerobic exercise to my days. I bought an eliptical. Now to go upstairs and put it together!

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
