SURGERY JUST SCHEDULED for 10/21!!!!!

OMG! I just got a call from the surgeon's office and apparently they had a cancellation for NEXT WEEK!!!!

I was so down yesterday after hearing at support group that the earliest surgery dates available were starting on November 25. It felt like an eternity!! So, I did my pout and tried not to think about it and BAM! I get the call today that they had a cancellation for October 21 and that is my date!!!!

Thanks to the people who responded to my 'momentum' post. Sometimes it really is a struggle when you're working so hard toward this goal and it can feel like the road is unending. I am really in shock right now. I haven't even picked out liquid Protein or anything like that! Guess I need to get started!!!!!!

Congrats to you!!! I did EAS Protein Shakes and carnation Breakfast shakes during the pre-op along with fat free Jello. It gets easier after the first couple of days. Good luck!
