puddin 7 Posted October 13, 2005 Congrats, girlfriend! The hiccups will go away before you know it. I had the hiccups for about 3 weeks. It's only been a little over a week since the hiccups stopped. The burps are amazing. I keep scaring my crew. When the burp comes, you just can't stop it. Like a great sneeze, you just gotta turn down the blinds, sit back in your chair and wait for it to come. Oh 2 Be Free 0 Posted October 14, 2005 Well I have done the dirty deed!! The scale tells me I am 11lbs down one week out. More than I thought. Kinda makes the liquid diet not seem so bad.. maybe I will stay on it forever! I get to start full liquids today... yay! Hope everyone is doing well.
"with the band" 1 Posted October 14, 2005 glad to hear you are home and feeling well. Don't worry - second thoughts will creep up almost everytime you are "not sure" about the band. I guess time will help us to trust the band and not regret this invasion to our bodies. Everytime I feel like that I try to reroute my thoughts to thinking of the band as a help - then my mind rests easier and those rejection thoughts clear up. Good luck.
