Hello all!!! I am 19 years old, and 282 lbs, 5'6, with a bmi of 46. At only 19, I suffer from high blood pressure issues, being a borderline diabetic and knee problems. I just called my insurance company on Thursday, and registered to take part in a seminar on Oct 29.

I'm joining this site, because, it looks very informative, and I would like to hear others success stories. I am open to any tips, and suggestions. Please help me get through this process, I know it will be a long one. But I am up for the wait... (as long as I don't have to wait too long)

I am extremely anxious to lose all of this weight. My goal weight is 155-160lbs. Hopefully everything goes smoothly with this process. Thnks for your time. And again, I am open to ANY comments, and tips... Thnx :thumbup:

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
