I am curious after reading about the various Bandsters saying their bands slipped etc , or have even suggested they are concerned that their band has slipped.

Did your surgeon sew it into place to prevent slippage?

One surgeon I talked to said that they have almost no slippage since they began that practice.

Anyone want to chime in?

That is something that I have been wondering as well..........

Um, the band has ALWAYS been sewn into place! But they did change the sewing technique a few years back, perhaps that's what he was referring to.

even so, its not an Iron clad guarantee. Bands still slip. But statistically its a low risk.
