Small Mental Victory

I don't really think this is a NSV, but its definitely a mental victory...

I'm a scaloholic. I weigh several times a day, even though I realize I shouldn't. This weekend, my family and I went to the country to visit some friends. I knew this friend didn't have a set of scales, so I considered taking mine lol - I know, its tragic. But in the end, common sense prevailed (err, it could have been that I knew my hubby would think I've totally lost it) and I left the scales at home.

I didn't even miss them! I've been home several hours and walked past the scales a handful of times, but not stepped foot on them. I'm going to try to regulate my weigh-ins to Monday mornings only. Not making any promises, but I think I can do this!

Hello! I'm familiar with the temptation you feel towards your scale. You set goals for yourself and want to check to see if what you're doing is working.

Try to put it in a closet or another room for the rest of the week. Take it out on Mondays only! That way you don't see it everytime you walk by and aren't tempted to get on it.

I put mine in the garage a while back and eventually got rid of it, was too depressing.

I'm the opposite, I run past the scales as fast as I can like its a giant bug or something gross.....eeeew.

Good for you Parvathi **BRAVO** thats one small step for man kind (no pun intended LOL, okay yes it was LOLOL).

That's fabulous! I too am a scalaholic.(Confession time) I will try also to only get on the scales on Monday morning as I belong to the holiday challenge and need to record my weight for the week. I think you belong to it as well.

Anyway, I do think that's a major NSV!!!! It's certainly a huge accomplishment and means you're on well on your way to 'skinnydom". I wish you the best and hope I can follow your example!!! You go girl!!!!

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
