I didn't see one started yet, so here it is.

Yesterday: Day off

Today: week 2 of couch to 5k

My sister is doing the c25k with me, so I am really excited to have a jogging buddy.

Lets make this GREAT month!!

Ok, I'll bite!

Saturday: Mowed the lawn for six hours (3 hours with hand mower, 3 hours with the riding mower), burned over 3500 calories!

Sunday: Mowed the really steep portions of my lawn with the handmower - great leg and arm workout! Took almost 2 hours and in total, burned over 3000 calories that day.

Monday: No workout, had to take pup to vet and was there for 10 hours! :-(

Tuesday: Will begin Week 2 on Couch 2 5K program tonight. Been on Week 1 for a few weeks, this should be interesting!

Although I've been on Week 1 for a few weeks, after the 1/2 hour program I power walk for 10 minutes, then walk on an incline of 8 for 10 minutes (I tried walking at an incline of 15 like they do on the Biggest Loser, but I'm not there yet!), then walk at an incline of 5 for five minutes, then cool down. Very excited I can work out for an hour now!

Hey Maggie! I am on week 2 of the couch to 5k too! I've been through the program before and it really works. I am doing the c25k with my sister this time. I am finding that this time around is a lot easier than the first time.

Congrats on your workouts! That's great!

Thanks for the welcome!

Well, I’m saying! I do exercise and that’s not too much of a problem. However I really need to get back to logging my food! IDK, will I ever get it? Lol I’m really trying though. J

I just need to make sure I’m buckling down with my workouts more than ever. I find that if I’m not at full speed with my workouts I’m not losing and in some cases I’m gaining. Sad but true…

I am the same way with workouts...if I'm not working out, I don't lose, no matter how good I eat! It sucks!

Good morning! Well I failed last night, I didn’t do my Calisthenics like I said I would. I had a weird evening and just ruined it. I CANT let that happen though. I have to get into the mindset where I’m doing my workouts no matter what!

Today will be better. I’m having my oatmeal at 8 and then my walk shortly after.

How’s everyone else doing??

I think I am taking today off. I was completely drained yesterday. I'm sure running outside in the 100% humidity is the main reason. I will try to do some arm exercises later and maybe a few pilates moves.

I didn't work out Tuesday nor Wednesday - we had a dog emergency and although I try not to let things interfere with "my time" to workout, there's a point where life gets in the way. I'm going to try to workout tonight...in other words, if I can motivate myself once I shut down at 5pm to not just hit the couch!

Happy Friday all!

Didn't get to do anything yesterday. My sister's step-son had emergency surgery yesterday. He had his appendix removed, so spend most of the afternoon at the hospital.

Today, week 3 of couch to 5k and arm strength training

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
