tztmama 0 Posted October 8, 2005 I have a little half mug of regular coffee mixed in with my vanilla Protein Powder in the morning. I saw someone write about only having Decaf. Is regular ok?
HarleyNana 10 Posted October 8, 2005 I use either, I just prefer the taste and after effects of the "light" Maxwell House. I've never had a problem with coffee, as a matter of fact, DH had to stop at first store he came to that had good coffee and get me a large cup on the ride home from the hospital. I'm on my third cup of the day.

Search "coffee" and/or caffein (but spell it correctly for better resutls ) and you will find all the really great conversations about this subject
Alexandra 55 Posted October 8, 2005 Another addict here. I have 2-3 cups of the real thing every day with sweetener and either real milk (at home) or Coffee-mate (at work). Couldn't face the world without it.
seppi 0 Posted October 8, 2005 I drink 2 large mugs of regular coffee a day. When I went to the pre-surgery dietician, she told me that a cup or two would be OK. She just didn't want me drinking too much. I don't know that I could start my day with Decaf, i need that jolt early in the morning. I tried to sustitute decaf for the 2nd cup but was getting terrible headaches, wasn't worth it.
Bensmum1109 0 Posted October 8, 2005 My doctors rule of thumb is that coffee is allowed as long as you also consume 64 oz of Water.< /p>
nurse4126 19 Posted October 8, 2005 Hi all, I am also a caffeine fiend. My dietician said no coffee, but my surgeon said coffee in moderation. Since I work full time, 11pm till 7am, I definitely drink my coffee! Although now, I drink a ton of Water throughout the day to counter-act the caffeine. And no, I don't tell the dietician! the best me 6 Posted October 8, 2005 My doctors rule of thumb is that coffee is allowed as long as you also consume 64 oz of Water. Excellent advice. Hay, what's Decaf? ! Anyone heard of this stuff? Sounds awful!!!
vinesqueen 2 Posted October 8, 2005 Decaf is awful. They use the cheapest Beans and the quality isn't that good either. Life is too short for bad coffee.< /p>
