303'sJourney 0 Posted September 30, 2009 Hi there... I just found out yesterday that I am 6 weeks pregnant. Not planned and still adjusting to the news... Does anyone know of a good prenatal vitamin/chewable one? I have been nauseau's for about 10 days and am having trouble keeping anything down. I go to see my OB tomorrow and my surgeon on Friday... but in the meantime I need a plan for a Vitamin. I am still taking my regular chewable Multivitamin... but if ya'll have any suggestions I could use them. Thanks so much!! "T"

Preggers 0 Posted October 2, 2009 You just have to be careful not to have too much Vitamin A because that is dangerous is everyone on chewable or is anyone able to swallow a capsule
amymay 0 Posted October 8, 2009 I am trying to get pregnant. My ob said a regular chewable Vitamin is fine, just take an extra 400mcg of Folic Acid.
303'sJourney 0 Posted October 8, 2009 Thank you so much for your input. My Surgeon advised me to go with a regular prenatal and told me I could cut it up into smaller pieces if necessary. I am actually able to take it whole... I sure do miss the ease of mind when it came to my regular chewable multi though... Good luck to all of you with your pregnancy!!

Jessnikah 0 Posted October 25, 2009 What chewable prenatal Vitamin did he have?? Is it by prescription or OTC?? It is prescription. Copay was only 5 though. It is listed as BP Multinatal Plus chewables. BP stands for Brookstone Pharmaceuticals. It says it is a multi Vitamin mineral tablet.
Nikaweez 3 Posted November 4, 2009 I use "Buried Treasure DHA Complete Prenatals". It's a liquid and i buy them from amazon.com: Amazon.com: Buried Treasure - Prenatal Plus Dha Complete, 16 fl oz liquid: Health & Personal Care
MyMeshelle 2 Posted November 29, 2009 How does that liquid prenatal taste? I think im gonna get a complete unfill so i might be fine with pills... If im too hungry i might get a little fill.... Im TTC... using a fertility monitor... so i should be preggo mid Dec 09... it worked the 1st month with my son... so im hoping it will happen fast again this time around!!
Nikaweez 3 Posted November 30, 2009 The Buried Treasure liquid tastes citrusy. It's made in a base of pineapple juice and there are also strong orange flavors. There is a lingering irony taste. Overall, it's not bad! and I occasionally will mix it into some citrus juice just for something different. Usually, i just do a shot of it and be done. I've been using it for just short of a year now and it's very complete. In fact, the liquid is so easy for my body to absorb that w/in an hour, i can smell the Vitamins emanating from my skin! liquids are good that way for anybody (men, women, banded, not banded). It's very easy for the body to absorb them when they're in that form.
Dani-X 0 Posted December 27, 2009 My doctor prescribed me "Select-OB." I absolutely LOVE them. No nausea, no heartburn... just a pleasantly blueberry flavored chewable. Just a side note, my doctor told me to take my regular DHA/Omega 3 supplements as this particular prenatal didn't include them. As a side note, plenty of my friends had great luck with Flinstones gummies too!
