2911plans 16 Posted October 11, 2009 Week 1= 19.9 miles I've been sick for three weeks--this week I did exercise but not as much as usual--I've just got to get better! I think my body's worn out. I'm still losing weight anyway, so at least that's something. I miss exercising, though--who would've thunk it?! Must...get...better... Hi Willowcat. I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick. Once the kids get sick its only a matter of time before the teacher is sick. We are battling swine flu here. So far, I have been very fortunate not to get it. I do not even have the sniffles. Last week 7 out of 21 of my students were out sick. Not all of them had swine flu. Most just had the regular flu. I know exactly what you mean about missing it when you can't exercise. I feel so bad when I can't get my workout in. Congratulations on the weight loss! I'm really happy for you. Hope you feel better soon.

willowcat 93 Posted October 16, 2009 Week 2: 22.7 miles I'm finally on the mend! The last two days I've been able to exercise my full 30 minutes and 6 miles! Yeah! Feels so good to get my heart rate up, to start breathing heavier, and to start sweating! :scared2:
Padanelle 2 Posted October 16, 2009 I've been feeling very tired the past few days, so haven't gotten out to walk. I was hoping to make it up this weekend, but they're predicting a Noreaster. Goal: 25 miles So far: 14.5 miles The month is half-over and I'm more than half-way to goal. Just got to stay on track... I can do it!
bellaboo 0 Posted October 17, 2009 Getting in the swing of things. 22 miles this week for a total of 37 miles so far. Everyone keep up the good work.
addelapp5 0 Posted October 17, 2009 Week 2: 10 miles 16 total. Weather's been grooooss here (mid-40's and raining all week!), but is supposed to clear up Monday, so I can get some real miles in.
2911plans 16 Posted October 17, 2009 Week 2 18.75 miles Total 31 miles 29 miles to go We have had record temperatures this week. Temps went as high as 92 degrees. I woke this morning to temps of 56 degrees. What a wonderful difference. The drop in temps have me so energized. I might get my miles outside this weekend. Another awesome week everyone! WooHoo! Padanelle 2 Posted October 23, 2009 It's been a bad week. I'm having trouble staying motivated - specially food wise. I thought I wouldn't have a problem meeting thois month's low goal, but its going to be close. I'm going to need to get out and get some serious walking in to reach it. Goal: 25 miles So far: 18.5 miles

rayne913 0 Posted October 25, 2009 week 3: 10 miles. Not a good week at all, started going to school so it's been kind of hard to get my miles in. I may fall short of my miles this month, but I will try hard to get the rest in. Good job and good luck everybody!
BillOh 13 Posted October 27, 2009 I'm signed up for a 5k run through a cemetery and golf course Halloween evening, that should put me very close to 100 miles for Oct.
willowcat 93 Posted November 1, 2009 october miles: 103.8 (16.2 short of goal--DANG!) I was bummed that another month has gone by with me getting close but not making goal, so I went back and added up all my miles since the July Challenge. In the last 4 months, I've biked 589.5 miles! I could have ridden my bike to Denver and home again 5 times! So...hello November! Time to try again. :scared2:
