I've fallen off the wagon, but am jumping back on

Yep, you read it right. I have done so good with not going overboard on the sweets and not eating to much. That is, until this past week. I have felt like I did when I was pregnant. You know how you always feel you are hungry and just can't get enough? I know I'm not pregnant cause it is not possible. So why is it that all I wanna do is eat eat and eat? I last weighed last Friday and had actually lost some more weight, but I am afraid to get back on the scales since this past weekend. I have had Ice Cream, candy bars, Cookies, and all kinds of goodies.

I know it does no good to be mad at myself or to be down on myself. All I can do is what I just did about 15 minutes ago. I went to the freezer, threw out all the ice cream, went to the pantry threw out all the candy bars, and started to throw away all the Cookies from the cookie jar but remembered why I had bought them in the first place. I bought them for my step-daughter to take to school and eat for snack, so, I just turned and walked away from them.

So does anyone else go through these kinds of spells and does anyone know what triggers them? If so, please please please share with me.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
