sandy00 0 Posted September 27, 2009 I had my first fill a week ago and I'm still hungry and feel like I haven't got much of a restriction if any at all. I'm not sure how much they put it, but has anyone ever had to go back in for more before their next appointment? Any suggestions?
NJMOMof2 17 Posted September 27, 2009 I had the same issue. Took a 2nd fill to feel restricted. I have 6 CC's in my band and feel pretty good. I am staying full longer. FYI--my doctor allowed me to get my second fill 2 weeks after the first fill.
gatorgal 0 Posted September 27, 2009 Our doc's office offers weekly weigh-ins. The nurse weighs us and looks over our food journals. If she thinks I am not making good food choices, then the first plan of attack is to make better food choices--as in more dense foods. If the food choices are good and the weight loss is slower that we'd both like, then she schedules me an appointment with the doctor for a fill. My first and second fills were about three weeks apart. My second and third fills were two weeks apart. I will go in on Monday for a weigh-in and will decide then if I need another fill. (I do.) I don't know about most of the people here, but I didn't feel ANY restriction until my second fill. It's going to take time, but just keep going back and getting fills. Just because you don't feel full, doesn't mean you can over eat either. It's so easy to mess up everything that you've been working for, just because you're a little hungry. Just keep working with your doctor and it will all work out.
