My Whinge for the Day

Okay, so for the past three weeks I wasn't able to make it to the gym, due to school holidays. This week, I jumped back on the wagon. On Monday I got another fill and started back to the gym. I've been every morning. I've been eating better, not snacking after dinner, etc.

So I jump on the scale this morning .. and wouldn't ya know, I've gained a kilo (2.2 lbs).

Not gonna let it get me down, much lol, just wanted to vent.

OK so my theory on this is that you've allowed your body to rest. We all know that rest is required to build muscle ergo you have built 1kg of muscle over the past three weeks! Simple.

You are doing everything right...dont get down..for me when I exercise I gain weight at first too, my body seems to reatin Water the first few days. Remember the NSV's they will get you through until that scale decides to budge ;)

Me too, then I lose a bigger amount a week or so later. You are doing awesome Jess, dont worry about it.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
