PinkMary 3 Posted October 6, 2005 sorry for asking guys, it's silly question i know but i'm so confused with us metrical system...can somebody convert me how many grammars holds 1/2 can ? how many grammars i must eat to be sure that i'm not eating too much? can somebody convert also the oz's (whats this oz?) into grammars? Thanks in advance!
DeLarla 22 Posted October 6, 2005 It depends. Are you talking about 1/2 can soda? A can of soda holds 14 FL OZ (12 Fluid ounces.) That's the same as 355 mL. Divide that in half.
PinkMary 3 Posted October 6, 2005 no i talk about 1/2 can of solid food.. this is the amount what we should eat?
PinkMary 3 Posted October 6, 2005 i will change the question, to be sure that my band doesn't need a fill, how many grammars of cottage cheese (for example) or of a chicken i must eat and to feel full?
Teresita 0 Posted October 6, 2005 Hey, stop reading my mind. We sent that at the same time. It depends on how much the can holds. It it 8 oz is 64 drams or 3840 minms or 226g

vinesqueen 2 Posted October 6, 2005 I've never heard of a weight called "grammers" We can't answer your question because there are so many different sizes of cans. There are little bitty cans that just have a few ounces and cans that are a gallon size. You have to be more specific. Sorry. Do a google search on "weight conversion"
ReneBean 3 Posted October 6, 2005 I think she wants conversion - ounces to grams. Half a Cup = 4 ounces = 1 quarter of a pound. 4 oz = 113.40 grams according to the conversion site I went to based on the Avoirdupois ounce. If you use Troy ounces - 4 oz converts to 124.41 grams. :]

puddin 7 Posted October 7, 2005 Google freaks: Go to Google.com and type in something like "grams in a cup" or "ounces in a pint" or whatever you want and it will give you the mathematical conversion!

Teresita 0 Posted October 7, 2005 LMBO that was fun and funny. I never say grammers or drams until Pink Mary mentioned it yesterday. Then I gave my neighbors kids their medicine and looked at the measuring cups and drams was on it. Pink Mary where are you from. Is that metric measurement.
