What's the opposite of a butt kisser? I don't kiss up to anybody! Except Marty McSorley. I'd kiss up to him. Or Bruce Springstein. Or Bob Segar. Well, I guess there's a few.

Well, coming to pain would would involve something I just don't have a lot of right now... time. Or money.. Okay, time and money are really short right now. Full time student on a tiny little stipend, and we don't qualify for student loans. so... crap I"m late for class again.

Lots of foils - blonde, honey, caramel and some dark brown ones. I'm not dark and I'm not fair. I would look seriously weird if I went all blonde, but as I get older, dark brown is too harsh. So I have lots and lots of colours and it all blends into a nice honey brown sort of tone - it hides the grey way better than a full tint does and it takes less maintenance but when you do get it done, sheesh, its expensive.

My hair has been every color under the sun from platinum blonde to blue/black. In my 20's and 30's I played with my hair color constantly, and frankly, I loved the really dark red-almost purple (Hybiscus from Hydriance) that I wore for awhile. Everyone else hated it, but I loved it.

After dying my hair black for a year or so, I developed an allergy to hair color and am now stuck with my natural dishwater blonde with a pretty grey streak.

DeLarla, hair is the one part of ourselves we can almost 100pct control. I say - be creative and fun with yours. If you have the choice to "be someone else" for six week, go for it. Have fun with it. Enjoy it to the max!

I say highlight it, get some of your natural color in it all the way around, have the honey blond and the chocolate brown mixed together.

The first time I decided to have my hair highlighted was when I was 39. I love it and its 3 years later. I get so many complements that the blond highlights brighten my face. The only reason I would stop getting it highlighted is because of $$$ Its $110.00 each time I go and thats not including tip. But don't do the fat lines, do the thinner ones, it looks more natural especially when growing it out.

I say yuck. My girl just re-did the roots blonde, but she didn't go "Billy Idol White" like I had it before. It looks great, but she explained that she did the color to match the style. It was either cut me into a Pixie and re-do my color, or touch up the roots and wait for this style to grow out. I knew I loved her for a reason.

But since I'm growing out that fun bob, I decided to flip it up for my big date Saturday night, which looked terrible. Go ahead and pooh-pooh my picture, and YES, I've gained a few (fluctuates between a 5-10 lb gain.)

Keep in mind, we all have an opinion, so please please please be nice. If you have anything to say that will make me barf, then let's see a FULL BODY pic of you! Muhwahahahaaha!

I like the hair and the picture is awesome. I'm so into fall colors right now so I would have a little brown and reddish brown put in on top - like about a half dozen foils of each per side. Ask your hairdresser.

You opted for the option I would have chosen for you had I been around the day you asked for opinions, lol. I very much like the more 'natural' blonde color on you.

Lookin' hot! :P

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
