If it were me, I would live with it for at least a week and see if it doesnt change enough on its own. If after that I still couldnt stand it, I would try a temp shade over it. BUT....I have really long hair and keeping my length is my priority.

And I have lots of gray and still use ash tones. I dont mind the woodsy green brown. My eyes are a strange combo of green, gold and brown. If I use any color with gold or warm tones, it brings out the old and they look kinda pea greenish (not at all flattering). Ash brings out the green, much better for me.
