Hi, I was banded 7/10/09. Dr Scott Ellison was my Doc at Overland Park Ks. I have lost 27 lbs and have had 2 fills. I'm still fighting hunger though. I know it just takes time but Im ready for some restriction. Good to find this board.

Welcome Margie! Yes it does take time to get the proper restriction, and even MORE time to restrict our head hunger! I hope you'll keep coming back her for the support you need. All the best!

Hi Margie, I'm Margie too! I am in the midst of a 6 month supervised diet, doing appts paperwork etc. I won't be banded until spring.

Hi Margie!

I was banded on 6/18 and will have my fourth fill tomorrow, which will bring me to 4ccs in my band. My surgeon will only put 1cc in at a time, so getting to good restriction is taking a while! Hang in there
