memeluv 0 Posted September 14, 2009 Went and got a fill two weeks ago, Finaly have restriction! But I have been really good drinking my Protein Shakes and eating small meals of Protein first and then veggies. I dont think I eat over a cup of food in any meal. But Im keeping my liquid intake and protein intakes up. I havent cheated and had anything wrong. But after two weeks I have only lost 4lbs. This is soooooo frustrating! I feel why am I doing this to myself? No one else has to eat so little. UGH!!
bashful1269 5 Posted September 14, 2009 Keep your chin up, 4 pounds is great! The average is two pounds a week, my surgeon told me that's what he wants from me. He told me if I lost too fast that I would end up with lots of baggy skin. Two pounds a week gives your skin time to adjust. You're doing great keep up the good work
RestlessMonkey 7 Posted September 14, 2009 I was told average is 1-2 pounds a week. I was also told the shakes should be a Meal Replacement, not a supplement. Are you drinking them in addition to eating? If so, did your doc tell you to? It may be too much "nutrition", your body just waiting for that rather than pulling from it's own stores (fat) between meals.
memeluv 0 Posted September 14, 2009 No, im drinking the Protein Shakes as a meal, Not with meals. I do eat a Protein meat at each meal though, chicken, tuna, eggs.< /p>
should_be_working 0 Posted September 17, 2009 2 pounds a week would be 104 pounds in a year. I think most people would be thrilled with that. :tt1: Think about how quickly the time went by when you were gaining 2 pounds per week.
Blazed 1 Posted September 17, 2009 Four pounds is great! I haven’t been banded yet but I was told id lose 1-2 pounds a week but more likely one. Be excited with your success don’t see it as a failure its not. I know everyone wants the quick way to being thin but patience is key! You can do it just keep up what you’re doing you will do great! At least you’re losing something and not nothing
