sberrys 0 Posted September 11, 2009 Anyone else with me on that?! Ignore my ticker but I'm trying to lose the 30 lbs my surgeon wants me to lose before I get the band and it's friggin hard and my scale lies! On the 5th it said I had lost about 9 lbs... 5 days later this morning it said I gained 5 back! :frown: What the heck?! I haven't been doing absolutely GREAT with the diet but I've been eating way less and way better than what I normally do and drinking Water and I had maintained the same weight for at least a year before this. I'm ready to slam that scale against the wall! Omg! I'm going on a partial liquid diet today, shakes and sensible dinner only. :seeya:
rafa2 5 Posted September 11, 2009 Are you near TOM? I know when I am, I avoid the scale because I always go up a few #'s :frown:, but they come right at the end, so... among many other reasons, this could be it... Good luck with the weight loss and upcoming surgery

Lizabeth 0 Posted September 11, 2009 Well, it could be dependant on when you weigh yourself, i think that its best to weigh yourself in the morning right when you get up right after you use the bathroom. That is when you get the best reading!! I think so anyways, hopefully this might help!

paracelsus51 0 Posted September 13, 2009 You can go up and down quite a bit during the day. Also, if you are eating those frozen meals or commercial foods they have tons of salt in them. I found that I bloat up quite badly if I don't stay away from them.
