Just cleaned out my closet for the third time!!! LOVING IT!!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I just had to share a HUGE NSV (non-scale victory) with my friends here!

It took me 8 hours (non-stop) to clean out my closet and get rid of clothes that no longer fit.

I am happy to report that there is no articles of clothing in my closet that are 1,2 or 3X. I am also happy to report that there are no pants with a "W" on the end (18W, 20W, etc).

The ONLY sizes I have in my closet are 14 & 16 pants, and L & XL shirts.

I have previously cleared out sizes 20, & 18, but this one is the best so far (of course). I know there will be at least 3 more "closet cleanings" for me, but I feel so great right now, I just wanted to share. Thanks for listening!

That is the best!! I've done the same thing a few times and have sent packages of clothing to a bunch of other bandsters who need transition sizes. It's such a great feeling to be able to do that. . . And, of course, to make room for new clothes!

Hi!

I just did my first one this Sunday...took me 6 hours as well...90% of the clothes in there wouldn't fit anymore! The funny thing is that there was a big section of the clothe, that I had put aside a long time ago, because it was too small, in hope of maybe one day loosing some weight...turns out that the clothes was too big..awww so sad!

I went down from a size 6X to a size 3X...and I'm not nearly done!

Plus my closet is super neat now...and...airy! hehehe!

That is so cool!!!!!! I can't wait to do that but I don't know where I am going to find 8 hrs- you must have had a TON of clothes. I am planning on cleaning out my closet when I cross over from the 200's to 100's- 8.8 more lbs!!! What are you going to do with all your clothes?

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
