blackcherry2002 5 Posted September 8, 2009 Ugh just upset. It happens every month. I'm a week away from my period and I've been eatting everything! I know I'll get some control over it in a bit but it's just frustrating how it always happens...
newdicarlo 0 Posted September 15, 2009 I know how you feel. Every month it happens for a few days I eat everything in sight! Puts such a pinch in the weight loss to retain all that Water and eat things you wouldn't normally even look at. I can always count on the start of a plateau during that week. I did find that upping the amount of water consumption does help a little, but it takes about 5 days to get the body to pee it all out!
skuzie 0 Posted September 19, 2009 unfortunatley ive never had the problem, im 28 now and i started at 20 having the depo-ralera injection, once every 3 months, no period, no spotting, no flucating hormones. although you have to keep up your Calcium intake, but extra milk or mulitivit, easy. when i think of how much in those 7 years ive saved of tampons and stuff, talk to your doc, and point out that it really is hindering your weight loss, even the pill, implinon or something? sus
sweetbean70 2 Posted September 20, 2009 Ladies~ I have discovered a food that has really helped me w/ my PMS cravings... Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds. I bought a 38oz container at Sam's Club for less that $10. Here is the nutritional info: Serving Size: 1oz Total Carbs: 6g Dietary Fiber: 3g Sugars: 1g Protein: 6g I just sprinkle enough to fill the lid and enjoy a crunchy, chocolatey snack!

Lizabeth 0 Posted September 25, 2009 Man, I have been stressing out with my period this month, I am newly banded, (7-10-09) And I just got my period a few days ago, and the day before and the first day I ate everything in sight. It was almost like I had no restriction. It sure is frustrating, It was like i got to the end of the day and realized how much I ate, how ridiculous. I am hoping to gain control over this as time goes on, but in the midst of it I am frustrated. After that first day of my period it has definately gotten better, maybe we just need to experience those days in order to figure out how to deal with it later down the line. I am just so happy I found this thread, i feel better already just typing about it. I love it!!! Wondering if anyone has any ideas how to handle the cravings? I have been doing good with what I eat, like 100cal snack packs but those do add up. Anyways, like I said it got way better after that first day but maybe I need to plan for next time. I hope I'm not the only one with this problem, and if anyone wants to talk about it, I'm here!! Cause i know this has been the most frustrating part for me. Best of luck to everyone!! We can do it!! aubrie 6 Posted October 19, 2009 Carbs increase hunger. The more carbs you eat, the hungrier you get, the hungier, the more carbs and on and on..... It sucks you in. An addiction..... IF you can...if you're hungry stick to Protein. Fix yourself a nice juicy steak or an omlette. Give in to the hunger, NOT the desire for carbs, and you'll have control of it in no time. Instead of 100 calorie snack packs of cheeze its, grab a handful of almonds. Upping your Water helps too. For me... I'm a sucker for chocolate during that time of the month. Make your own Sugar Free Chocolate pudding and add a scoop of Protein Powder.< /p>
newme68 11 Posted July 31, 2016 I was sleeves 6.12.16. PMS hunger is real. I'm battling it right now. I'm not craving anything. Just hungry ans can't get satisfied. I have increased the Protein and have stuck with the plan. But this is the first time I have felt like I had to "diet" to keep from going off the deep end and over eating Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
